A site dedicated to the Laverda Formula 500 production racer  & its roadgoing brother the Montjuic.

Often overshadowed by the fabulous SFC 750 production racer the F500 was a machine which was successfully raced in Italy & Europe.

The Formula was very competitive and the factory decided to create a Laverda 500 Formula Cup. This was held 1978 to 81 in Italy and also in 1979 in Germany.

Laverdas most successful factory 750/1000racer Augusto Brettoni ran a 500 Formula during the series with results of 2nd in 1979 and 1980, 6th in 1981
